Superstar Mahesh's new project Dhookudu has begun in Turkey last week. Srinu Vytla directs this Action Comedy Entertainer on 14 Reels Entertainment banner produced by Gopinath Achanta, Ramu Achanta and Anil Sunkara. Gopi Mohan has prepared the script and Kona Venkat has penned the dialogues for this Movie. For the first time Samantha has been paired opposite Mahesh. The unit has completed a song Guruvaram march okati...eveningu five forty.. on the lead pair recently. A new sensation Sorbee has choreographed this duet composed by S.S.Thaman and written by Ramajogayya Sastry. Few crucial scenes are being canned now and fight master duo Ram-Lakshman will join the crew soon to compose few chase scenes. Superstar Mahesh will complete his part and return back this week. Then the unit will shift to Dubai to can some scenes on Abhimanyu Singh, who plays a negative role in this movie. The other cast include Mukesh Rishi, Shiyaji Shinde, Nazar, Prakash Raj, Soonu Sood, Vennela Kishore, Brahmanandham, Soniya and others.
Superstar Mahesh has signed the remake of 3 idiots with Shankar and will himself confirm the same soon. This Movie will be produced by Gemini Film Circuit a part of Sun Pictures. Arya and Jeeva are under consideration to play the other two roles for now. Haris Jayraj has already started composing the tunes for the same. Meanwhile Mahesh has also had initial discussions with Mani Ratnam before leaving to Turkey. If things work out this Extravaganza project will be announced very soon. As per sources this historical movie is based on a novel called "Ponniyan Selvan".Apart from these Prince Mahesh is also working on projects with Puri jagannath and Linguswamy too.
